Injection system unit injectors
Injection system unit injectors is a modern fuel injection system of diesel engines. Unlike the Common Rail system in this system the functions of creating a high-pressure fuel injection combined in one device – the pump-atomizer. The actual pump and injection nozzle is the injection system. Any spare part by Komatsu is subject to an additional thorough check within our company.
The use of a pump / nozzle allows to increase engine power, reduce fuel consumption, emissions and noise.
In the system at each engine cylinder has its own injector. Drive pump-injector is from the camshaft on which the Cams are relevant. The force from the Cams is transmitted through the rocker directly to the pump nozzle.
The device the pump-injector
The design of the pump-injector includes a plunger, control valve, shut-off piston, a check valve and a needle spray.
The plunger is used to create fuel pressure. Forward movement of the plunger is effected by rotation of the camshaft Cams, the return – due to the plunger spring.
Control valve designed for controlling fuel injection. Depending on the drive distinguish between electromagnetic and piezoelectric valves. Piezoelectric valve replaced the solenoid. The piezoelectric valve possesses a great performance. The main structural element of the valve is a needle valve.
